Providing Children Healthier Childhood For a Chance at a Better Future
- In underprivileged regions around the world, children have difficulties in accessing basic medical care and health education on hygiene. We hope to provide children around the world the access to basic healthcare and health education by inserting fully operational nurse offices and other necessary staffs into schools in underprivileged regions in the world.
- Working side by side with local educational charities we hope to promote the importance of education and also provide the children a safe haven for all their basic medical needs.

In 2016, UNICEF estimates over 161 million children under the age of 5 years is affected by stunting
Approximately 45% of all children deaths under 5 years of age is due to malnutrition in low and middle-income countries
In 2016, WHO estimates with better water, sanitation, and hygiene can prevent over 361,000 deaths in children under the age of 5 years.
NUTRIENT DEFICIENCY
FACTS
In developing countries every second pregnant woman and about 40% of preschool children are estimated to be anemic.
Anemia contributes to 20% of all maternal deaths.
Iron deficiency anemia is aggravated by worm infections, malaria and other infectious diseases such as HIV and tuberculosis.
An estimated 250 million preschool children are vitamin A deficient.
An estimated 250,000 to 500 000 vitamin A-deficient children become blind every year, half of them dying within 12 months of losing their sight.
Vitamin A deficiency can also cause growth retardation.
Iodine deficiency is one of the main cause of impaired cognitive development in children.
Iodine deficiency during pregnancy can result in stillbirth, spontaneous abortion, and congenital abnormalities such as cretinism, a grave, irreversible form of mental retardation
54 countries still have a serious iodine deficiency problem.
EDUCATION
Education is the key to a better future by providing the necessary life skills such as reading and writing, social, communications, and access expanded support services within a school system.
By inserting a nurse office in the school, we provide another incentive for parents to send their children to school, to have access to healthcare.

A Nurse Office can provide everyday healthcare solutions in terms of medical care, food supplements, and education.
With awareness, we can prevent malnutrition and growth stunting that are the leading cause of death in children under 5 years old.
